Lines

The first photograph is one which i found on the internet after i had already taken the second photograph (which is my own). I took the second one in Philadelphia and was really attracted to the way that the lines intersect. There are vertical and horizontal lines that intersect each other, just as the first photo displays. (if you look in the first photograph, the grate on the ground and bricks are horizontal lines while the walls are more vertical.)  Also, the color tone of the photographs is similar (and even though mine appears to be black and white, it is not).
