This photo is from a website called alpics.net, a website dedicated to pictures that focus mainly on nature. The name of the photo is called "End of Autumn", and thought it was an appropriate comparison to my own picture. The state of the leaves, given that they have fallen to the ground, signal a change in the seasons and reminder that time is in a never-ending cycle out of our own control.
Almost every day, I spend about an hour running on the Perk Trail. Being in a natural element removed from a college campus that would be considered more "developed", the Perk offers a serene aura about it. I noticed a collection of leaves on the Perk, less than a mile from campus, and decided to use it for my first post. Though a fairly simple part of nature, the leaves are a big part of the atmosphere that I put myself in every day, and wanted to document them as such.
